helen-jayne, if you like the boat trip then there are various trips you can take, big boats, small boats etc. If you like the sound of Capt Dimitri he has little ex fishing boat takes 6-8 persons and can be booked at Planos Office opposite "harbour lights" don't be fooled by the glass bottom one (boat)moored close by.

Well nothing I guess it moored next to Harbour lights whereas you book Capt Dimitri at Planos Office. Smaller boats will take you right into the various caves on the west coast whereas larger boats cannot.

Helen-Jane, if you wander up past the Amfititri Hotel, which is the other Olympic one, there's a good taverna where you can use their sun-beds for free (or at least you could do in June). Lots of Bastas people were doing this. They are friendly, and the food's ok, too. Oh, and so is the ice cream............you will love Paxos, I'm sure.
