One other query my future husband has regarding the possibility of us coming to Paxos for a week is the transfer. We have booked our initial week with Olympic holidays and our flight lands at Corfu airport at 4.15pm local time. Say it takes us 1 hour to get our cases would it still be reasonable for us to expect to get a boat at that time over to Paxos? Would probably be about 6pm?

You should be able to get the information from Olympic with regards whether you will get transfer the same day or need to stay overnight in Corfu and travel next day to Paxos. We went with Kosmar last year, our flight arrived about the same time which was too late for last ferry/hydrofoil so we had overnight stay but that was in September.......

Definitly stay on Corfu first, then Paxos. the shock of the bustle of Corfu after the quiet of Paxos may be too much!
The last hydrofoil to Paxos is at 6.00pm so you would probably just cacth it if no delays. However if you contact olympic they will just give you the answer form the brochure. Ask them to get customer service to check direct with the resort about transfer times and options and get back to you.
