In recent years my girls have had excellent sailing tutition and safe supervision (from a respectable distance! ) from the English guy on the beach at Avlaki. We have mislaid his details. Has anyone got the phone number and/or web address for him? Thanks.

Hi Magenpies,

In the Avlaki pages of the guide Nathan suggests contacting the following inorder to make contact with the sailing school:

Cavo Barbaro situated in the centre of Avalaki over looking the sea. Tel: 26630 81905.

I am also interested in doing some sailing in corfu. Magenpies any more information on this would be great, e.g. what sort of boats, cost location and quality of the tuition, also can you hire the boats out.

I will try and find his leaflet.

He has lasers, toppers and a couple of other things.

Cost about (Hazy memory so don't quote me) 24 euro an hour to hire.

If yo are going to sail, go in the morning before the wind gets up.
