Goodness, I thought everyone had forgotten me? Or is it just that the weather has sent everyone into hiding?
Well now, Fungiflow ( hmm, interesting name) - there is of course an excellent reason why the Corfu Post Office hangs on to at least one of everyone's Xmas cards until Feb. (I myself have also just received one!) It is of course because they are kind-hearted enough to realise that there is a long, flat, boring patch after all the festivals and fun, until we get into the swing of Carnival, Clean Monday and then Easter. This flat period is in Feb and so, any bit of post that is not a bill is going to cheer you up enormously. Ergo - the belated but beloved February Xmas cards!
Ritchie, I am flattered you want to see a photo of me - I will give it some thought (and some Photoshopping) and come up with something suitable.
Graham - I'm not sure where you are going with the question about the licence to publish a column? You don't need a licence, you just need completely OTT self-confidence, impenetrably thick skin, and plenty of encouragement.
Are you planning on joining me then?
Maggy, if you find a source of that make-up do let us all know. Now is a good time to stock up actually, at one of the shops selling Carnival gear!
Love from your Agni Aunt.

I love this thread, along with the cooking tip's and all the others. But this one brings a smile to a face that I feel doesn't smile enough at the mo.
So I thought I would give you all a giggle and see who has some tips for me.
For some years now I have "said" I am going to give the Walk of Life a go, however this year my friend said she wanted to give it a go, and before engaging brain my mouth opened and said I would do it with her. So I have 4 months to get ready to walk 5km.
Not a lot I hear you say. I do it all the time in the summer, have even been found to do it on holiday in the middle of summer, snag though I wear heels, high heels, nothing lower than 4inches. I now have to go out and find a pair of trainers to wear. Not hard, but I have a habit of falling over in flats, as I am sure many a Corfu person has seen when we take our morning stroll along the beach;o)))
So fingers crossed for no broken bones, and who can guess how long it will take me:o))
Thanks again Agni Aunt, keep it up, it's nice to pop on the site and smile

I very much enjoy this thread. It is a sort of meeting place where members can ask "Genuine?" questions, offer help to others or just a wind-up. At the moment I am in the last catagory. A bit of a "Leg Pull" but there is a serious side of the thread, here is a quote to my last post on it.
Quote: Originally posted by weststekker on 16 February 2009 The CDR prize stallion MILLENNIUM has put on a spurt and is now over 1000 votes in the lead. Will his stable mate MILLENNIUM 2 take over the lead and live up to his name?
MILLENNIUM 2 is now taking up the running, the jockey is wearing the AGNI colours. Could it be Nathan in the saddle? No way, Eleni's cooking is so good, Nathan could never make the weight.
This is not a handicap race but did the other stables remember to remove their entrants from the carts?
The last thing we require now is a stewards inquiry and a hint that the rest of the field was nobbled.
Just because we are in the lead, do not sit back, your vote is still needed.
I think that I could have blown my "Free Meal" ticket to Agni later on in the year. lol
Polly, with your extensive range of excuses, do you have one to get me out of this hole.
