Thanks for the slow cooker tips, tried it last night, very good. I didn't meean to offend anyone, sorry, re Scouse recipes. I'm stuck out here in the Canadian wilderness, and yearn for chat gossip and merry tales. Keep 'em coming!
How do put a signature and a motto at the end of my posts?

Oh Agni Aunt, do I detect a folorn note in your latest column? Are you feeling neglected, unwanted for advice, left out?
I had noticed no answers in your column for some time, so what can I ask you? Where is there a drug store in Kondokali that has English speaking staff? I needed cough medicine last year, but being diabetic, had to be careful of sugar content. I had to go without!
Can I get artist's supplies in Corfu? And can I buy quilting supplies anywhere? Are there in fact groups I could join, just for the duration of my holiday?
THanks in advance, dont stop!

Agni Aunt,
Auntie. can you put a lot of members out of their agony. The question has been asked on many forum threads to no avail.
Maybe you can twist a few arms to get the answer to the question that we have all asked.
WHEN WILL NATHAN GET THE TAVERNA AGNI WEBCAM UP AND RUNNING?
Since we watched the taverna close and the jetty dismantled at the end of the season last year, we have all suffered withdrawl pangs. We want our daily FIX of who's visiting soon.
Yammas, Colin.

Oh a couple of questions at last! Whoopee!!
Well, Corfu Kate, as far as I know almost all pharmacies in Corfu have staff who speak good English and certainly at the Kontokali pharmacy they do! Are you sure you didn't address you query to one of the customers by mistake? I suggest that you, and anyone else in your situation, should bring a supply of any medication you are likely to need where sugar conent has to be considered.
There are several shops selling artists' supplies but I am pretty sure you will not find quilting materials as you expect to find them in Canada - quilter's paradise if I remember rightly! There and in US and UK you can find fabrics cut to specific size, quilting thread, templates, etc etc - but not here.
I am not sure if there is currently a quilting group in Corfu - there was quite recently, but I am not sure what happened to it.
Colin - there is only one way to find out about the webcam - and that is to ask The Man! Which I will do - today - promise!

Spoke to Nathan Colin - life is pretty hectic at Agni HQ these days with starting up taverna again, dealing with arrivals, necessary trips etc but I am assured that in a couple of days the webcam should be operating again at the taverna.Hope that puts your mind at rest!

Auntie,
Thanks for you effort, I am sure that your reply was of interest to many members.
I am aware that Nathan has limited time on the forum but he also finds time to TWEAK and try new things. A couple of weeks when I logged on the banner was new. It was basicaly brown with sketch type houses. Without thinking I clicked on "Message Boards". By the time the "Euro Cent" had dropped and I went back things had changed. It was back to the normal blue banner.
Even with a fantastic ADMIN team there are certain things that the site owner only can do. I feel that I can speak for all members, we appreciate all the work that he does on the forum.
Yammas, Colin.

Auntie A,
Many members have passed comment that it is great to have the taverna webcam back. The quality of the new camera is so good that you are almost able to see every morsel of food on a guests platter.
I need you to get your verbal Ex-Lax going and see if you can get a new slant on the Temp Cam. With the good recent weather on the island the red alcohol on the thermometer has gone off the top of the screen. How are we expected to know how much ice to put into last remaining Ouzo until we replenish stocks. That is of course for Ice not the Ouzo.
Up A TAD and we will all be happy.
Yammas, Colin.

Hi Colin,
I'm having no trouble seeing the temperature on the thermometer on the front page. However, if you click on the thermometer, it will enlarge and you will be able to see the whole thermometer. Problem solved.
