Greetings Corfu fans!

This summer has seen web cam problems, no newsletters and if you made the effort to visit the taverna, then you will most likely of missed me. Why?

Basically, my health has prevented me from working and recently I have spent more time in hospital than at the taverna. Weekly, Eleni and I have been making trips to Athens. Tuesday morning I underwent a final operation in Athens and we returned earlier today. The surgen is confident that I will now fully recover over the new few months. It certainly has been a difficult summer, but already I feel better! And, guess what? I have not been wasting my time in a hospital bed! Nope with my trusty laptop, I have been working on new improvements to the site - you are just going to love them!

This winter I will of course be taking it easy - no major site revamp, but several new addiontions that I am working on you will soon see - so exciting!

Thanks to all those who have been so supportive - especially Eleni my wife.

Hi Nathan,

Sorry to hear you had to go through another op, but even better now that you are back on Corfu, and on the road to recovery. This time a full recovery, but convalescing means to rest, so make sure you do.

The site is running well, with the exception of a few small matters, but nothing that cannot be handled by the Admin Team, I would imagine.

Look forward to the new ideas and site upgrades, but do make sure you rest Nathan.

Nice to see you're still in need of Hazel's expertise !

God speed with your recovery.

Last time we met you claimed to understand the notion "You're nothing without your health" - prove now that you you really do understand it - chill out, enjoy family life and start work again in May .

I have only been visiting this nice community since June/July. Already I have made some nice friends and helped 1 or 2 out. (Thanks for sorting Flopsy's avatar). Clearly, members of longer standing know you better than I do and I must thank you for your messages and help at a time when I was unaware of your personal situation. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and a return to good health.
