Hi

I have just noticed that a lot of the old wristband thread has been archived so I have unpinned it and started a new one.

All our longer-standing (I won't say "old" lol!) members will know that we offer CTG wristbands in return for a small donation to the Agni Animal Welfare Fund.  The wristbands are a nice shade of blue with the Greek flag picked out in white and they are a fantastic way of showing your membership of this site: especially if you are hoping to bump into other members whilst on holiday on Corfu as they can be worn anywhere!

If you haven't got one and would like to have one click on the shop link at the left-hand side of this page, or on the link to our AAWF website in my signature.  They will usually be delivered within a few days of your order.

We do have two sizes but the smaller (child/youth) size is now in very limited numbers.

If you already have your wristband, don't forget to pack it to take with you or better still, wear it!  The airport seems to be the best place so far (Agni aside!) for spotting CTG members.

Don't forget to let us know who you bump into!

Happy holidays to all of you!

Julia

Good idea excellent in all respects.

But I did have a negative issue with wristbands more than once in Kos.  I was wearing the "Pink" cancer charity band ( my wife has breast cancer) after a while I realised We were getting less than the normal good sercice in tavernas etc.  We were told by others that the locals thought we were "all inclusive" and therefore less likely to spend as much as others.  By the way we never go all inclusive but prefer to support the local traders.

Hi Chris

You have done this on purpose knowing that you are staying in Panto and that Msbabs and I go home on 10th Sept, may spot you at the airport though.

Lol, Chris!  That is very generous of you!

Jimjim, sorry to hear about your wife's illness. I do hope she is doing well.

I guess the only solution to the all inclusive confusion that could arise is to take the band off when you go out to eat, or order loads and prove everyone wrong!

Julia

Mine just arrived in the post today! Not long to go!

Maybe a "I'm not on an all-inclusive holiday" T-shirt will avoid the confusion...

Bidi.
