Can I just reassure everyone that we are not going to have several Pledge Days every year! We would all be very fatigued by that. Wet Nose Day is simply the name for Pledge Day 2. And such a great name!
This year it will be held slightly earlier than last year. The last thing we want to appear to be doing is asking our supporters for money when Christmas is on the doorstep. What we would like to know is, has anyone any suggestions for a suitable date? It must be after the beginning of September but before December.
My suggestion is 5th November as it is a night that we do worry about animals anyway. We'd love to hear other people's ideas and perhaps if there are enough Nathan could rig up a poll and we could vote on the best ones.
Thanks for all of your support and please don't worry, any kind of pledge day will be held only once a year. In in the meantime anyone who wishes to support us now can do so in a variety of ways. We have various merchandise in our "shop" that can be sent in return for donations, there is the Corfu Map that raises money for us, and of course you can use iBelong which costs you nothing at all but automatically earns money for us.
So, thinking caps on, what date do you think would be best for our Wet Nose Day?
