I think I have understood you correctly. If not apologies in advance.
It is not necessary to click on the log out button when you leave the boards.Then, if in your profile the line "Automatically log me in when I return to the Forum" is checked "yes", you should automatically be logged on when you return without having to enter your password and name again.
At the top of the screen it should also say "Welcome Alecko".
Occassionally, after Nathan has been "fiddling" it may be necessary to log in again.
