Does anyone know if it is possible to change your log on name? I know you can't do it by editing your profile.

After a discussion with Graham T-A about our names and initials it has struck me that although I look at my intials and see my name, others may think I'm into old tools of some kind!

No...not possible

You would have to start from scratch and register as a new member. Consequently you would lose your post count and revert to a one star member. Maybe if you PM Sailor, he could offer some advice and grant you two stars from the outset.............

Completely irrelevant I know, but interesting (to me at least!)

An Awl is a tool traditionally used by leatherworkers, cobblers and the like to make holes in leather for stitching etc. The term "cobblers awl's" often shortened to "cobblers" is cockney rhyming slang for............ oh, you know what its short for!

I think I'd better send Nathan a nice PM. Well Alison could be a mans name, I was named after my great great grandad but his name had two l's and he used to have a piano shop!
