I have been a regular to Agios Gordis for many years, but this year we are going to stay in Gouvia for one week first. What are the do's and donts when you talk about places for a drink or food? We are staying in Govino bay, so preferably in walking distance from there is good.

Been going to Gouvia for many years somtimes 2-3 times a year a compact village many places to eat and drink, beach is a pebble beach that dont please all but a nice walk along the marina to Kontokali and the village there. If you dont have a car, its on the main bus route to town, and surrounding areas buses every 15 minutes or so.

Gouvia was our past haunt until we went to Agios Gordios last summer. Love Gouvia and have stayed at Govino Bay you will not be dissapointed. Much different resort to Agios Gordios beach is pebbly and resort not as quiet. Verginas taverna is a must. Mmm enjoy feel quite homesick now thinking about it

We have stayed in Gouvia in May for the last two years, at Spiti Prifti.
Spiti Prifti has a taverna, and a lovely pool with bar, great for chilling out.
One of the great advantages of staying in Gouvia is the blue bus link to Corfu Town. The other way it goes to Dassia. You are also on the green bus routes North and can get to Kassiopi, Paleocastritsa, and Sidari without hiring a car.
