Love the bit where the cricketers smashed a car window!! I missed the Kalami/Kouloura bit; a colleague texted me to say it was on. I'd completely forgotten about it!!

Hi Lizzie,
They got that wrong as well as there are NO private beaches in Corfu. Also did you notice that when he gave her a drink of ginger beer he said yasoo instead of yammas.
I was really disappointed with this programme as it did not show the real Corfu and I stayed up especially to watch it.

They also got the bit wrong about The White House in Kalami. It was never home to Gerald Durrell and the famous family - just Lawrence and his wife later on. I did enjoy it though.

Hi Susanna,
Also spotted that as well. As you say Gerald Durrell never lived there, just his brother Lawrence.

I've just watched Joanna Lumley's program and there was a lovely ariel view of A.G. at the beginning. Has anyone watched a cricket match in town, as she said they played about 100 a year? It was a really good advert for Corfu, it looked very beautiful and very green. Can't wait until next year.
