Oh dear - the Manchester flight for this evening has been cancelled and re-scheduled for tomorrow afternoon
Not sure why, as the outward flight was only about half an hour delayed setting off from Manchester earlier this evening..Nikos has been at Corfu airport since 9pm and they have only just been told its now cancelled so he's stranded there until tomorrow.

My mum was due to fly out on the Manchester flight last night. The flight was diverted to Athens due to bad weather ?!? At the same time the Bristol flight departed as scheduled. Fair play to Easyjet, they were arranging Hotels in Town for all passengers, of course we went down to pick mum up. The flight will apparently go at 3 this afternoon.
I would like to thank Easyjet for this delay, last night I had tears from my daughter because her Nana had left, she made a wish on a star that her Nana was still here. The smile on her face when she saw her Nana in bed this morning was priceless and something I will remember with warmth forever.... ''mummy, my wish came true''

Nikos made it back to Kaminaki at about 6am this morning after waiting for the first Kassiopi bus. He didn't wait to be put up in the hotel, and is busy doing some more painting at the taverna this morning before going back to the airport!!
Hope its not delayed anymore, or he won't be back for my birthday tomorrow..
