Does that mean the police will have another reason to nip into a bar or Kafeneon other than a smoke break!
I assume smoking outside of bars and cafes in the summer won't be a problem and so the police wont find many if any law breakers throughout the summer!

Even as a nonsmoker smoking has never bothered me- except when actually blown in my face while I am eating- but it will be interesting to see what happens

Not long after the new Athens airport opened, we were waiting for a connecting flight and decided to have a meal in one of the restaurants. This was a few years ago now and we were surprised to see that the restaurant had separate sections for smokers and non-smokers.
In the smoking section there wasn't a spare seat to be had. Yes, you've guessed it, the non-smoking section was empty!
There was only a 3ft high barrier between the sections anyway so it really didn't matter where you were sitting!!

In our local here in the UK the manager of the pub built a outside smoking area with heating but got fed up with non-smokers sitting in there during the evenings, so he put up a sign saying "FOR SMOKERS ONLY, IF YOUR A NON-SMOKER PLEASE DON'T SIT HERE"

I have found on social occasions when I nip out for a fix most of the none smokers join me, according to them it's more fun sitting/standing with people who smoke!
