Didn't know there was a late EZ LGW flight.... But the Thomson flights seem to be badly affected:
LGW flight is due to land in the UK at 14.10 today, whilst the Mancerster one isn't due back until 20.25 today.

Nothing to do with flights, but in answer to your question Graham, pretty horrendous.
We had no power for about 3 hours last night and the road at the front of our house turned into a fast flowing river. The lightning though was so intense that I was able to sit by the window and read my book, even without a candle to light the pages!
This morning Rocky went down to our garden (not adjacent to the house) and discovered that the stream that runs alongside it had become blocked and had 'broken it's banks' in the storm, flooding ours and a neighbour's garden. Although the waters have now subsided indications are that our land was at least 6" deep at one point last night. Sadly 6 of our tiny chicks didn't make it...

Thanks Maggy, we've still got 4 little 'uns left, but if we can't find where the blockage in the stream is, so if Debs is right we'll get flooded again tonight.
Meanwhile, all quiet on the northern front at the moment, thou' ominous dark clouds before nightfall suggest things will change soon...
