Lets all raise a glass to the top TV chef,he entertained us all for years. He lived life to the full and departed this life in the same manner as he lived it. Good meal, washed down with a glass or 2 of wine. cheers

Watched ITV news last night and they showed a clip when Keith Floyd was in Corfu..Brilliant.
How ironic that his last TV interview went out on the night he died.

I didn't see that yesterday but seem to remember it tipped down with rain while he was on the Island?!!
I met him a number of times over the years - both before and after he became famous. He was always the same - hospitable and merry irrespective of the time of day or night!!

Worked for his solicitor in the late 80s when he was at the top of his game and met him a couple of times - think he was between wives 1 and 2 then. He was exactly the same as on TV - flamboyant and fun - but boy could he smoke and drink!! Sure it is the way he would have wanted to go - and his last meal was at the Hix Oyster and Fish Restaurant in Lyme Regis, which is wonderful. RIP Keith
