You can definitely take 32kgs in one bag between two people, I've done it and it also has a chart telling you this on the easyjet help section of their website.

Hi, I have some good news. I have spoken to Simon from Easyjet in the last 5 minutes. 2 people can take up to 32 kg in ONE hold bag with NO EXTRA CHARGE (apart from the initial charge for one bag). I also found another number which only charges 10p per minute, instead of the £1 per minute number which I think Nigel quoted.
Thank you to everyone who responded to my question. I appreciate the help.

Still not sure about this so had a little look on their site........... see below
Baggage policy. Each hold bag is charged at £16.00 per bag at the airport. Each passenger is entitled to carry 20 kg of hold baggage spread over a maximum of 8 hold bags. Extra weight may be purchased during the booking process, otherwise excess weight fees will be payable at the airport if the total weight exceeds 20 kg. If you need to take more bags than you have currently booked, please add the relevant charges to your booking. Purchasing additional bags does not increase your weight allowance.
Baggage allowance. Each paying passenger may take one standard piece of hand baggage, dimensions 55x40x20cm. The number of standard checked-in hold baggage stated for your booking must weigh no more than 20kg in total. The 20kg hold bag weight allowance (per passenger) does not increase with the addition of further hold bags. Extra weight may be purchased during the booking process. Additional charges payable at the airport will apply if you exceed the pre-paid weight limit.
Confused.com
Think we will go with 20kgs for our 1 bag as per above!

Hi all, just thought I would let you know that we are now back from Corfu, and yes, we took approx 25 kg in ONE suitcase between the two of us. We checked in and spoke to the young lady who confirmed that taking up to 32 kg in one suitcase between two people is definitely correct and allowed. This was also stated on our print out of our booking. Another little saving there then!

I can assure you 100% that both Orchard & FetaOlive are correct. If you check in one piece of hold luggage between 2 people then you are allowed 32KG NOT 20KG and you do not pay extra!
We have done this on numerous occasions!
