I'm looking at having another week in September to make up for our poor weather in our second week in June.

I know it's unpredictable but has anyone got any experience of the weather in September.

September is one of my favourite months of the year. The days are hot but the nights a bit cooler than high season so better for sleeping. Normally the weather is great although some years we have had a few spectacular storms but they have never lasted long. It is never possible to say what the weather will be as it is so unpredictable a lovely month one year maybe some rain another. My advice would be if you come bring a jacket incase the evenings a cooler and pack a cagoule they don't take much space and will be handy if it should rain. Also even if it does rain where you are staying then use that time to explore the island, it can be wet on the East and dry on the west or vice versa. Head for the blue skies and I am sure you will have a great time.
