It does look unusual for time of year - a large low pressure coming down from Adriatic and moving south. It seems worst will be overnight Sunday (thunderstorms) but then showers Monday and maybe Tuesday. Temps down to max of 23C until Thursday. I just hope for those their and going this weekend that it bypasses Corfu and just hits the mainland as is often the case.

I really hate to say this but has anyone else noticed the drop in temperature this evening? The clouds are very high and wispy but it just feels a lot cooler.

But look at it this way where can you get sunburnt and wet at the same time, just go with the flow and enjoy yourselves, I know where I would rather be if it was raining and it is not South Shields

Corfupete, completely agree - I would love to have some rain as I am sick of watering every evening for ages and my plants would love it. But - I live here, just feel sorry for people only here for a short time....

I'm sitting here, typing, with perspiration literally dripping off me... and it's 23.07hrs.... I agree with Lavinia that there is a slight drop in temperature, and there has been a light breeze since mid afternoon, but nothing to write home about. It's well over 30c, and even if we do get a few storms in the next week you can be assured that they'll be plenty of sunny periods between them.
Don't worry, the only way you're likely to go home without a tan is if you sit in your room all day!
Have a great holiday all.

It is only 22c here but no sign of rain so I guess it is out with the hosepipe again early tomorrow (I missed tonight) Bill is quite right you only have to gently wander around in this weather to get brown - no need to sit and bake in the full sun.
