Hi Elizajay, we stayed in the Dora Apartments about 3 years ago and had a lovely time. They are centrally situated, but are a little way down a path so you don't here any noise at night. As you come down the path the restaurant opposite is owned by the family that own the Apartments and if you turn right there are some lovely bars/tavernas along the seafront where you can sit, have your meal and watch the sun go down - Lovely You will have a wonderful holiday

Hi mushypea, hire a car and take a look at the south we think its great, after St.George try Maltas, Vitalades, lefkimi, and there are lots of lovely old villages around, maybe stay a couple of nights so you can have a good look around, we try to have 1 wk. in the south and 1 wk. in the north, but this year can only manage 1wk. in the south, have a great hol. lorac.

Thanks Lorac for the tip - I have actually been really looking at the south (I have never considered this area at all before - a devout north visitor!!) but must admit the south seems to have a charm of it's own - I will definately be pushing Mr B to hire a scooter (his preference not mine!!). I know when my son hired his scooter for a week - he took himself off all over the island and told us about the places he had visited off the beaten track which included St George South.
