Never actually done this before so hope it goes alright.
Been an avid follower of this site for many years, spent a few years just looking and then joined about 2 years ago but taken this long to take the next step.
Absolutely adore Corfu, so much so that we (me and my husband ) bought a place 2 years ago and have been planning our life there ever since. Have loads of questions to ask as hopefully this time next year we will be in the middle of moving over for good. Until then this site is definitely the next best thing.

Hi, we bought our house two years ago as well. Where did you buy your property. It is great to dream about future times in Corfu. You are right this is a great site to talk and find out about Greek life.

Our house is in Agios Ioannis near Aqualand, and even though I want to move to Corfu with all my heart and know I will make the best job of it I can, if it wasn't for the input on this site I wouldn't have had the nerve to do it. I don't think I have seen a query asked that hasn't had an answer which helped in some way or other, or seen more offers of help from perfect strangers, which incidentally you know are not just pie in the sky so to speak

I have to say that for no other place would I go to the inconvenience we are having to go through to get
there but Corfu.
Well worth spending the night at LGW going and 16 hours coming back, I'm not really complaining just hoping that by some miracle someone from Easyjet reads this site and drops a big hint about flying from Belfast next year.
