Why is it that when checking in at the airport you're asked, 'Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?' Because if it was without your knowledge, how would you know?
Just a thought...

lol!
I always pack my own suitcase Trace, I don't trust the wife. We will be packing less this year as I believe our apt. has a washing machine which is handy as we are going for a month. We always tend to take too many towels which weigh heavy.
Bring your washing round to our place in Sept. we have reasonable rates

They should ask 'Have you left your luggage unattended? Could someone have put something in without your knowledge?'
I am soooo careful about my luggage - I never leave it unattended and would never carry anything for anyone else unless I had seen exactly what it is!!! But then I was an army wife for 20 years and am more than aware of what lengths a terrorist will go to to blow something or somebody up
So please take the security aspect of your luggage seriously - the questions they ask are for everyone's safety.
