Like you Nigel, we prefer to book independently. Not staying in one particular place but like to move around the Island.
The problem with these TO's is they say package tour's but they are dropping over half of the Island's accomodation.

Thomson 2009,look as if they're flying from Manchester on a Monday as well as a Tuesday,not checked a Friday flight!MON 1st June to Tues 7th July2009,coming in at £320 more than the same dates I paid for this year!and the return flight to the UK is the graveyard shift!!If all else fails,I will book two back to backs =28days from teletext on a package holiday ,(as we are fortunate to be able to go anytime) and not use the accomadation.Failing that have a long weekend near Gatwick and go with Easyjet!!But tries not to cross bridges too soon!!
P/S checked Friday flights from Manchester! £368 more expensive!! Liverpool flights are coming up as only going to Palma,no other destination choice----(faints)
