Would do maggy but the old wrinkiles have set in!! I've got some products to take that have a spf of 15 so that I don't end up like an old prune. I was just so disappointed that p20 had changed as it did me great for years and I always went home with a lovely tan.

Like you Karen I am a great fan of p20, but I noticed when I was buying mine last year there was something similar called C20 made by Calypso, which works in the same way, it was quite a bit less in cost and this was in Bodycare shop. I will have a look next time im in there to see what the application time is on it.

I asked my beautician about that very subject.....and her advice was that the SPF in your daily moisturiser is fine for the weak British winter sun etc, but on a holiday or a sunny day here in summer, she recommended a special facial sunscreen should always be worn as there is nowhere near enough protection in an ordinary moisuriser......
dont want to alarm anyone

The ultrasun 17 that people have reccommended is one that you put on once too. Its supposed to be better than p20 so worth a try . I have found it on the net for around £14 so not that bad

We've been using piz buin once a day for the last few holidays and it's been really good.It comes in all factors, from 4 up to 30.I have really sensitive skin but so far haven't had any problems with it.It cuts down the weight in your case,as you don't need to keep re-applying and also because it comes in a tube instead of a bottle, you can cut it open and get another application. It's amazing how much coats the inside of the tube,so there's a thrifty tip!

on the subject of prickley heat-superdrug now sell that cold air in a can stuff (sorry dont know what its called ....cool something)with an ingredient in to relieve prickly heat-invaluable i would think if you get it.
when i find out the name i will post it
also(off topic)i read in this months Zest magazine last night there is a mossie patch containing vitamin b1(which insects hate the secretions you make when taking it but is virtually undetectable to humans)
apparently it delivers in 1 patch 36 hours of protection and 5 patches are £5.99.
it also says you need to eat something like 2000mg of b1 in marmite for 3 weeks to get the same effect(eeugh!!) so i will find out the name and post that too when I can remember where i put the mag!

Try taking vitamin B1 tablets starting 2 weeks before you leave and for the duration of your holiday to keep mozzies away.It works for us.
