Does anyone know whats happened to the San Stefano hotel in Benitses?

I think it was closed this summer and it looks like all the windows and patio doors have being removed.

This used to be a lovely hotel in the 90's.

The hotel is on numerous sites but when you try and get a quote it comes back as no availability.

Yes I noticed that too. Wonder why? Such a lovely hotel too. Hope it will be back in business.

I am informed that it has been sold and is currently
being upgraded and refurbished as a luxury hotel for
the Russian tourist market.

There was a sale there last year of all the things that the
new owners no longer wanted !
