Thank you Denise and Becky

Becky we have spent most of the ' summer' enjoying it from the conservatory, we have bbq's as long as it is dry and it is an extra bonus if the sun is out but we have only had a handful this yearbecause of the weather.

If and when we decide to ever move to Corfu it will have to be a seriously addicted to Corfu/Greece person that will buy our house as its probably not everyones cup of tea

Angela

Have put a picture in my gallery of garden when we bought house

Angela, Just looked at the before picture OMG what a difference, you could set up a garden design business over the internet and make loads of money then retire to Corfu. No seriously you have both worked wonders and anyone who buys your house will certainly get a beautiful garden.

Regards Denise

I was just going to say does he do garden design!!!!

he is seriously talented....we are looking for somones to do something like that with our garden....he could really use those talents...

Could he not go part-time where he works? And spend a couple of day each week on the garden design? That way he would be protecting his pension, plus doing what he wants in life (I've just done similar...cut down my horrnedous civil service job to 2 days per week, I work in our (me and hubby) company a day or so, the I am free for 1 or 2 days a week to help out with my twin grandaughters! )

Worth a thought!

Definately worth a thought Lizzi, our lives are just ticking away and I think you have to be happy in your job(to an extent) and he is not.

Its just being brave enough to make that move.

When he comes in from work tonight I will show him this thread and see his reaction

Thanks for your comments

What an amazing and beautiful garden!!  When you get fed up , just look out at that beautiful place and i am sure you will cheer up .....

We moved from a fairly large house to a much smaller onwe . I lost my garden i only have a large patio now and i really miss my garden ..

Thanks Trace

I do moan about him leaving his dirty washing by the basket and dinner plates above the dishwasher but suppose its a small price to pay
