Hello all, I thought some of you Corfu addicts would like to see some old 1930's photos of Corfu that I have acquired. Go into my gallery to view. They show some of the more popular resorts as they were many years before development. If I find any more on my travels I will add them.

Dave they're Great ....I do enjoy look at pictures and yours are very interesting thanks for sharing!!!
the old pictures ...has anyone approached you on them...maybe relitives such like...amazing...

A few years ago I looked at a post card to find my Mother and sister was in it.....my mother has been dead for over 20 years... it was so nice

Thanks DCV. Glad you liked our photos. Nice to hear/know that someone is looking at them!!! Lovely sunsets we had there but also rain and thunder storms!!! So fingers cross that it won't happen again this year!!! At the moment the weather looks pretty promising for Corfu.

Thank you for sharing those CanarayDave. You and other members may like to know that Porto Restaurant (where we first tasted the delights of Guivetsi and Bourtheto, sadly neither on the menu last time we visited), on the harbour in Kassiopi, has many similar old photographs hung inside. There is even one of Kalami when there was only the White House there.

They are great, I love old photo and have a big collect on disk of Rotherham, though they are not the same as looking a how Corfu has change.
