Have to agree with Malc, & I would like to have voted for him on his reply but the button is NOT there!!! so how can this new system be fair?

Also, no voting on the beach, ok I understand its a page for chit chat but some peeps post quite amusing & interesting posts on there, & can have spent time 'composing' or researching them too!!

And ALSO, I noticed one member got 6 stars  . . . . umm don't think I'll continue with this as I do not wish to receive a pm telling me to behave myself, whatever system is used it's not going to please all of us is it?

No problem Kaz. Also, in answer to your question about  a 'Vote' button, I'm afraid that you won't get one of those until you've reached two star status

For those of you asking about other aspects of voting and how the votes are used, here's a recap of the post made on 29th June about the introduction of the new system:

You will see a 'vote' icon on each post (except your own), which if clicked will open a new window, giving you the chance to rate that member's posts. The options are:

Excellent!! (+2 votes)
Very Good (+1 vote)
Average (0 vote)
Fair     (-1 vote)
Poor     (-2 votes)

Once you make your choice, your vote will be recorded for that member. (You cannot vote for this member again for another 7 days. Any votes you cast within this period will not be counted.)

The votes cast will not be visible and member upgrades will be automatic depending on the total votes cast by members.

Will members be downgraded? That is something we have not yet decided and would only consider if a member received excessive negative votes.

We trust this answers any other queries made in this thread

Excuse me I have more than 2 stars and do not have a voting option, button or what ever, is it a selective voting system? Not happy about that!!!!!

sorry I just don't think to vote, It's nothing personal against anyone and I have have read lots of good posts since the new systeme started. If I started voteing now I would spend more time voteing than reading posts as long as I don't get penalised for not voteing I'm quite happy with the stars I have, I just don't want to not be able to P.M and go on the beach

i rearly fail to see how a system can work if some people cant vote after all the people who will have the most questions are the new members and they dont get a chance to repay the information given by voting.

This system baffles me i rearly can not see what was wrong with the other system at least you could see who had posted how many posts how many stars they had and you knew that every post counted and didnt need to rely on someone remembering or being bothered to vote.
