I've every faith that Jo will be in Sidari on the dates she was due to go, it's like one big family on the site, what an awful predicament to be put in at such short notice these TO's are shocking this year!!!- Like I've said before once I win the lottery I am going to open my own agency and solely sell Corfu only - I have even got my name for it - very simple but I think sums the island up "Love Corfu" so when I open I will need volunteers lol - anyway I'll see if I win on saturday xxxx

I have not been able to get on the site much in the last couple of months...

Your post has made my blood boil, goodness knows what its doing to you! I do so hope you manage to get sorted. Blimey, if I was in my house now I would have told you to keep your flights, and stay at our place (10 mins away) so you would have had a base to search from.

I am so sorry for the distress you must surely be going through.

It seems a case of tour operators can do what they want, our friends run a Thomson complex, and couple of years ago Thomson suddenly told them a few weeks before end of season they would not have any more guests. Thomson had redirected everyone who was booked there to other accomodation on the Island, probably with a cock and bull story about overbooking or something. This left our friends still with bar stock etc that is vital to their profits to sell and needless to say they were none too pleased.

I just went on to Thomas Cook and put in for 8 people (didn't know if any kids so chose 2 upt to 12 lol) for 14 nights from newcastle

Of course all these details could be wrong but they came up with two options -

Now I don't know Sidari well at all but with your contacts out there they may know and be able to find out if there is availability for you with out having to book with another flight

These holiday reps/agents can be a right royal pain in the butt sometimes - fancy sending/offering you Kavos!

My blood is boiling the other year our tour operator wrote and said they wasn't going to the studios any more this was feb 14th i was gutted has we know the owner they put us in other apartments but i wouldnt stay there has wasnt having me tell me where i could stay .The only thing was I picked the studios because they didnt have a pool has nathanael was very young and was not fightened of water and you have guessed has we got out the car he ran straight to the pool jumping in a lovely man following him in the water but it could have been fatal ,but i had the last laugh on the tour operator i went to the studios to see marietta and she said they let her know a week before the season so i gave her my letter dated february 14th to take to there solictor.

CORFU IS NOT OVER BOOKED........

I have used a travel agent in Corfu town a few times, www.corfuxenos.gr, they have accommodation in Sidari and are very helpful.

Good luck, you have plenty of contacts to help, I'm sure it'll work out for you.
