If I was you I wouldn't cancel - keep the flights you may not get others - hopefully you can arrange accomodation in sidari and just get a taxi from the airport if they won't let you on the bus - then make huge compensation claim from TO - threaten watchdog LOL

Hi Judie,

I eventually got the guy, as i thought he said its not him that over booked. Hes blaming the other agents so they are all passing the buck. I told him that there is no way we are going to kavos, hes looked and looked and they have no accomodation at all in the whole of corfu, not a sausage, only kavos, thats the only one, so, only thing i can do is ring sidari agents myself and try and find something today, frankie and takis are doing the same, i have emailed a few but i think its too short notice, i really need to speak to people.

Does anyone know who i could ring, im not sure which travel agents to call, getting desperate now :(

So sorry to hear of your problems hope everything works out for you everyone is rooting for you good luck.

Similar thing happened to us once the tour operater decided that we were to go a particular resort which we don't like as they had overbooked although we had all the confirmation for the chosen place, I had high ding dong with them but really didn't get more than an apology, we then found out the resort next to our first choice was available so we reluctantly booked this. We went to visit our original choice and found it was like a ghost town and there was tons of accomodation available This led us to book independently which we have now done for a long time i'm sure many people now have lost a lot of faith due to strangleholds by the T.Os We should name them and shame them

Make sure you hang on to those flights at least!
You may be able to book something independently, if not actually in Sidari then somewhere a heck of a lot closer than Kavos. I know Orchard is pm-ing you, but if that doesn't work out you could try CORFU ESCAPES or SAN STEPHANOS TRAVEL.
I really sympathise with you. The blessed TO clearly regards CORFU as one big resort - whereas we all know it has amazing variety of landscape and ambience and we all have our favourite areas...
