Hi Karen and welcome. Have you thought about booking directly with appartment/villa owners and then getting a flight? We have done this and it works out much cheaper because it cuts out the middle man and his commision. It might be worth looking into
good luck, Pam

Hi Karen

Have you looked at Sky Travel they have a lot of discounts.  Also as someone else mentioned you have also got Thomson Auctions on line.

I have to agree with Lily's Gran we have been booking independently for the last 3 years.

Have you looked at the direct sell companies e.g. Portland? I think Sunset is cheap too. Many of the tour operators have cheaper options/brochures.

Or risk it and book a last minute bargain - although there might not be many about as everyone will want to get away from this bloomin rain!

Or if you buy Norwich Union travel (or home or motor) insurance you get discounted holidays through Thomas Cook

We,ve just had two weeks in Kassiopi at the Lofos (excellent) with Olympic and paid about £350 each which I didn't think was too bad

We've just had two weeks in Roda at the Aphrodite which was fab - all for the grand sum of £400 for two of us for two weeks!   However, we are going again (to Kalami) in four weeks time, and that has cost us considerably more (something like £1000) even though we are going independently.  It depends mainly on the time of year I think.

Have you tried the website www.lastminute.com?

I am working for a tour operator this summer and some of our holidays are advertised on this site for £168 for a week next week at a set of apartments in Sidari which are really nice and another of our apartment blocks in Paleo which are also decent so I think that's a bargain and that includes all taxes etc.

I think if you are prepared to book last minute then you will definitely get a very cheap bargain.
