Just to cheer us all up.

St. Swithin's Day is 15th July or so I have been told. Please correct me if I am wrong.

So if it rains that day the planes should all be full of people looking for the Sun by the 17th July.

I do not think I could take 40 days and 40 nights of rain.

Oh i used to believe all that when i was little. My Mam stopped telling me when it was cos i used to get all chewed up worrying about it , lol !!

Yep here in Essex too....we'll be bailing out soon.... typical of this country look forward to Summer all Winter, get to April and think, yeah this is more like it

hit May and it's been rubbish ever since!

Indeed, it is July 15th, but as said in Essex had nothing but rain since May started, NOW today wimbledon starts so going to be more rain.

I asked someone yesterday when St Swithens Day was, as I was convinced it was a week or so ago. Its very soggy here in South Yorkshire, my son's school was closed again today due to flooding, my father in law is stranded at work in Sheffield (heheheheh) and I have a seriously p'd off horse who couldn't go out without a snorkel and flippers and a very soggy cat and dog.

From what I heard on the Weather this morning we have sunshine and showers from today Wednesday through to Sunday at the moment and Saturday seems to be the worst day.
