There is a great new magazine out in the uk (but they do deliver to Europe as well) that covers the Real Greek islands. It is full of lovely photos and stories about the Real Greece and I loved it. It will be featuring Corfu later this year.

They are also looking for Travellers Tales, funny or interesting stories from locals or visitors- so all you word crunchers on this site- get in touch with them. The mag is subscription only at the moment, but you can visit their website at

Just looked at the site about the new mag, looks interesting, I've had 'GREECE' magazine for the last two years and enjoyed it but it does seem to be getting more & more about property for sale, to rent & adverts than interesting articles about Greece

so I may try this new one out!

The magazine editors told me that they do not wish to make real estate and property a feature of this mag. They want to concentrate on giving a taste of the real greek islands through stories and real life experiences.
I will be writing some of the stories or a column for corfu from December onwards.

Just like you Blue Chairs I have been reading Greece Magazine for the last two years. I find it does a lot about Crete each month and not so much about the other Islands. Also on buying property.

Am going to have a look at the site now. Thanks 2Tonsils for that info.

I also get Greece mag but find it too Crete biased lately. Will look at the website for this soon.

Oh I'm glad it's NOT just me then, there is alot about Crete in it, maybe the Editorial staff are Cretans??

Thanks for the positive feedback on my new website. It makes all the difference to know someone is enjoying it.

The old site at Mycorfudreams couldn't handle all the visitors, so I took the chance to improve the site.
