Having booked some 6 months ago to stay at damias apartments in sidari, Dionne and myself were looking forward to a lovely week in corfu sarting on the 16th oct, our first visit. My friend who is planning his wedding in sidari for next year wanted to book the same week to finalise his plans was told by damia herself ( who is a close friend of his) that the complex was closed that week. WHAT! So I phoned Cosmos who we had booked with and they assured us everything was fine and our booking stood. Not what the email damia sent me said. So after a dozen or so phone calls to cosmos I finally managed to speak to an operations manager and sent him a copy of damias email stating that she was indeed closed that week, he said he would get back to me. He did 3 days later to say "we were aware some weeks ago that there was a problem at damias that week and there seemed to be a breakdown in communications between cosmos and me" NO S**T SHERLOCK. so alternative accomodation was agreed upon, and a heafty reimbursement for my trouble. But anybody wishing to book damias for next year through cosmos beware because although they will take your booking they will not be at damias next year.
But at least I will still be able to sample the delights of corfu.
