It just occured to me that a Ka is something to do with witchcraft,I remember reading Dennis Wheatley's "Ka of Giffard Hillary",cant remember what old giffard hillary's ka was,but it was as least as suspect as you know who's,bobbo

WOW, what a great night.

We took Mum in Law for her 90th birthday treat (her choice, honest) this evening.

With the new band playing very traditional songs and tunes, the atmosphere is very much as you would imagine it to be in Greece proper.

Alki informed me that he was fully booked for Sunday lunch tomorrow, even he was puzzled as to why. But i suspect that word is getting round that the food is great, and for me thats enough.

This evening he even had a few groups waiting for tables to clear before taking their place.

He must be doing something right.

And we are back there again next Saturday with a couple of friends, taking a break from a dance seminar all that weekend in Sutton, Surrey.

Lifes really hard when you are retired!!

We're going to the Cyprus Donkey tomorrow night, booked a table a few weeks ago and of course mentioned this site. Really looking forward to it. There's eight of us going including my mum who's 83 and hasn't been to Corfu for many years now and misses it so much, she loves the music and especially loves the greek dancing. Maybe Spiros (hubby) will entertain her and he might drag me up as well!!

Hi Pat.

Have a really great evening. I was in the kitchen this morning when the fish was delivered, looked lovely. And thats saying something coming from a non fish eater.

Alki is going to have a Greek style BBQ outside the restaurant on May 1st. during the daytime. With chunks of lamb and chicken on long skewers (souvlas) cooked in the traditional way over charcoal. As well as all the usual menu. Looks like I've been roped in to help, hope I get a chance to have a dance.

Hi Bob

We had a really good night on Saturday, it was very busy. I only wished I'd been a bit more adventurous with the meal. Spiros and I did a greek dance together which really pleased mum. Hoping to go to the BBQ on 1st May.
