Chris and myself are doing 2 resorts this year a week in Ipsos ans a week in Kassiopi.Its been a few years since we went to ipsos but we would like to know if its still rockin in July and which are the best music bars to go to.We are getting on a bit but still lurve our dance music.Anyone got any suggestions.

Hi Jayne, We will be in Ipsos from 2nd to 23rd july.It has a good mix of music bars for us more mature people!!lol. As a rule the further you go along towards the Pygri end the more lively the bars (and also dearer drinks)We usually end up in Dirty Nellies Irish bar,good all rounder for all age groups. maybe see you there!!

Cheers Den - we'll miss you as we go to Kassiopi on the 30th. What time do things get going now ?? We like to go out for a few 'early' drinks but when do the 'clubs' get lively..are we talking midnightish...and what sort of cost to get in...and finally I know music changes depending on the bar but who plays mainstream dance -

Hi Jayne,Yes your right doesn't get lively much before midnight,more bars rather than clubs.Didn't go last year so don't know if any more clubs have opened but were only two that charged, Hectors which there has been some posts on the forum saying that it has closed.The other was a foam bar very lively with the younger ones.Plenty of good bars with dance music just have to see what takes your fancy.Sorry can't be more help went to Santorini last year (very upmarket)Can't wait to get back to Corfu.Hope you have a great holiday Denise

Just realised from another post that your staying at the Yiannis and what a bargain!!We had a last minute hol there in oct 2006.Really friendly and couldn't be in a better spot.
