]Hello,
I have seen the above restaurant on the internet and really like the look of it, but would like to know if any members have eaten there and if you would recommend it, please? I must say I am very impressed with their list of 200 cocktails! We would prefer to go there for a meal in the evening, but as we are staying in Gouvia, feel we need to justify the cost of the return taxi fare. Any information would be gratefully received, thanks,
Sue.

Hi Sue, had an evening meal there 2 years ago and because the tables are outside and surounded by fruit trees it was the mozzies who dined well that night and not us, despite slapping on the deet! I prefer The Pumphouse over the road, BIGGER PORTIONS AS WELL.

Yep, gotta agree with Nigel, theres swarms of mozzies in the lemon tree gardens, try Woody's overlooking the beach, fantastic food and very cheap

Hi Nigel,

Maybe we should just go there for lunch and a few cocktails then! Thanks,
Sue

Thanks also Jimmy, I think I'll spend the taxi fare on cocktails instead when I go for lunch!

Hi - we've eaten there a couple of times and can't say we were bothered by the mozies - must have been whatever spray we had on that did the trick, either that or they just don't like us. First time was thought it was fab but were a bit disappointed last year both with the food and the service. There are some nice places along the beach and for cocktails we liked Vegera (and for a delish lunch too).

Food wasnt fab to be honest when we went (2 years ago), and as has been said, the mozzies are horrendous there!
Can vouch for Vegera on the beach....take a look in my gallery and there are a few pics taken there. (number 72, 76, and 93)

We ate at the Lemon Garden two years ago,the food was ok,a little overpriced, but it was the large green beetle that dropped from the tree onto my daughters dinner that really freaked us all out,in the fading light we were all very carefull to look at what we were eating after that, and as others say the mozzies were out in force.A lovely setting and beautifull garden, but maybe for lunch not in the evening...i will second jimmys vote for Woodys, super food, good service and at a reasonable price too...oooo can't wait now 35 days to go..julesxxxxx
