Do you need to protect yourself from mozzies during the day?

I understood that they were just a problem in the evening/

Hi Granton,

They are more previlent in the evenings and early hot mornings. They can be around most of the time. Better prepared than not.

Cheers.

Hi Sailor,

Thanks!

We go in the middle of July, so I imagine that will be in the peak of mozzie season then, so shall go well prepared.

One of my daughters, has a fit if a teeny greenfly comes anywhere near her, so goodness knows how she will cope knowing that these little blighters are out to suck her blood!!  Lets just hope that she doesn't taste nice.

Regards,

Granton

Hi

Last year we used the marks and spencers extra strength repellent and didnt get one bite in the two weeks we were there i will be taking it again this year.We also kept our plugs in on both day and night and it really helped as no mozzies in apartment.

Blue army, where stopping at the Elizabeth APTs.

We always use plug-ins and those Sipra coils that you burn in the evening, we normally dont have a problem with the blood sucking pest's.

Eat plenty of Marmite is the secret apparently! The smell is emitted through your skin and the mozzies hate it!! Mind you, so do lots of people, so it's not ideal for many of us I guess.

We keep the plug things in day and night, and burn the citronella candles.

All types of Avon Skin So soft (woodland fresh).
Have been using for many years to keep Mozzies at bay.I
also use at home for most of the summer in west coast of Scotland to fend of Midgies.

We use Jungle Formula (roll on one) and always take it out with us to top up as the night goes on. The roll on on just fits into a pocket so is really handy. In our apartment we use the plug ins and citronella candles.

Jules
