We found that 'Mozzie guard' was a good one and eat lots of garlic and tadziki. that keeps most things away. although, the tzadziki gives me botty burps and nothing come's near me then, not even the wife.

LOL  Alex

Erm, thank you for sharing that with us.......I guess it's one way to keep just about everything at bay

We have always used Avon Skin So Soft Woodland Fresh, but have just received our order for this year but they have sent a different variety called Soft & Fresh. Can anyone tell us if this works the same.

Hi guys, the Avon SSS range was re-vamped at the start of the year........they claim the new product has the same properties, although a slightly different fragrance (I liked the old one as well).

Will wait and see......

Hi

I bought Toyal Traveller - samsonite anti-mosquito wristbands yesterday - never used anti mossi stuff before but never been to corfu before either!  You all said mossis were a problem - dont know if they work - any comments but if they do they are a snip at £3.99 in Wilkinsons pack contains 2.

LOL @ alex

No problem with the old botty burps when i'm in Corfu anyway, all the greek food works wonders

Think I'm going to stick with Jungle Formular, rather have the irritation from that than get eaten alive

Cheer

chris (sailor) told us to take odourless garlic tablets a week before we flew out and it worked. i (leigh) was the only one who got bit and i only had one bite. this was amazing for me as i am usually eaten alive (they see me as a four course meal).

hope this helps. we gave it ago even though we were sceptical,  so cheers chris!

Hi

I get eaten to death by mosquitos and find that Boots Mosquito Milk is brilliant. It doesn't smell bad and you just roll stripes over your exposed bits - no need for total coverage. However, after reading this site I'm currently taking garlic capsules and am going to try and eat marmite whilst on holiday although I hate the stuff!

people I know swear by Avon Skin so Soft (green one) body lotion.

It smells better than most repellants.
