Or just speak Greek to them! I agree they can be a pain.
Also, remember the little cafe right down the far end of the airport tucked away round the corner from the domestic departures as that is always quiet (albeit probably not open late at night).
And if the departures lounge is really hot, which it has been every time I have been there this year, go down to Boarding Gate 1 and stand under the aircon vents!!
But as for the queue to get through security don't get me started!

Right. Well thanks everyone. Sounds like nothings changed. We were there in May with Thomsons.
We tend to get a taxi back to the airport and make our way inside without running the gauntlet of the REPS. Naughty I know,(dont tell anyone)
I do of course understand the need for some sort on herding system, otherwise chaos would be pandemonium!
Easyjet, at least gives you the opportunity of making your own way through.
We ask ourselves why do we do it.
Well we love Corfu and its people.
Roll on Sept 26th.
Not too sure about October 4th our return.
Good Luck everyone.

My experience on the Easyjet flights cfu-lgw late evening dpt in the summer is that you arrive late to check in because as Peter (Mr Spears) said it really doesnt apply the fact you have checked in etc and have a boarding card is check in 1 hour before take off and by that time the queue has thinned out. Like Peter I know where to stand on the buses BUT Gatwick is the problem collecting the luggage because every time in the summer we have had to stand nearly 40 mins after landing for the announcement of which conveyor belt to pick up the bags and if you look at the ones that are waiting for their luggage its all EZY flights; possibly considered as the poor relation.
