Hi Chris. As you well know... the Midgies in Scotland can be troublesome too... Luck doesn't come into it.....We all must try to protect ourselves! or ruin a lovely holiday. aye Keira.

Keira..I don't know if i have told you yet we will be in Scotland next year for a fortnights holiday on the Isle of skye...Second and thirds week of June (all booked up)we have booked a bungalow just down from Portree..At a place called The Braes between Gedintailor and Balmeanach ..The Bungalow has it own beach and little harbor looking over to Raasay island so taking my boat with us to do some fishing and also Taking the dogs with us next year...I know about the Midgies...And about that time of the year no dowt will be start coming out in force...But you say it does not come down to luck about being bitten by mossies...We both take prevention from being bitten and both use the same repalent...Its just that i get bitten more than the wife..So i think that its just unlucky that i get bitten more so...Than the wife..Chris
