Good luck a similar thing happened to us last year. We had the flights paid for. They said we could change the names or the dates. But to change the dates we were going to have to wait until the week before we were due to travel or we would have lost money. I didnt understand why the closer to the dates the better off we seemed to be. We got very worried that it was all going to go wrong and managed to go. I hope you manage to have your holiday.

Three years ago we had to change our holiday plans at relatively short notice as Corinne was a key witness in a court case - the CPS even offered to fly us back to the UK and then return us to our holiday destination, but that all sounded rather inconvenient.
We managed to defer the holiday until later in the year, and eventually changed the booking to a completely different location without any penalties.
BTW, he was found guilty.
