Does anyone know where you can buy Gigantes beans? Tried looking on web but only source I could find only supply a pallet load ( last a couple of lifetimes).
We don't have any greek supermarkets in Cornwall unfortunately..............
We have found some already cooked in tomato sauce in small jars from Tesco and Sainsburys but are looking for packs of dried variety so we can make our own recipes....

I use the large butter beans and they're fine. I do find though that I have to cook them for longer than the recipe for Gigantes states.
Yummee....Just thinking about them is making my mouth water.
Have used butter/lima beans before but was looking for the real thing.
Perhaps a business enterprise is available here.....

If you live near Leeds Costas Greek Deli in Leeds Market sells the original ones.
I buy them but have usually eaten them by the time I get them home!
