Moring All , just woke up to the news there`s been an earthquake of the coast of greece ( 6.5 ) on the rictor scale , i sincerley hope all is well and no one has been hurt..

Taken from a news page "one person has been killed in an accident after a magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck off the island of Rhodes in southeast Greece, but there were no other reports of casualties or damage.
The quake occurred about 70km south of the island in the Aegean sea, at a depth of about 13km, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said...."

Unfortunately it seems one person was killed indirectly by the quake (which was of an 'average size' for the area). A woman slipped on the stairs as she tried to flee outside and banged her head.

Oh I just got home from work - AT LAST!! - decided to get a bit of afternoon sun with a cuppa . ..sun went in and hubby comes & tells me about the quake! He was messing around looking at the ORANGE web site for some reason . . .I came straight on here, knew I'd get to find out more on CTG!!!
