My boss wants to go to Corfu on holiday this year after I came back singing its praises last year.... I'm still homesick
What I'd really like to know is: last year when I posted a thread on what to do in Corfu, I'm sure someone said there were dining tables on a beach somewhere where you could watch the sunset, quite possibly in the water on the West side of the island?? Am I losing my mind?? Is there really such a place?

I have just looked backl through some of your earlier posts last year. Could it have been the "surprise holiday for hubby" thread? There was mention of the wonderful sunsets at Ag. Gordios but nothing about tables in the sea I'm afraid!
Arillas will also have lovely sunsets as will Paleokastritsa. There was also a wonderful website for Liapades mentioned on here somewhere. There would be beautiful sunsets from there too. I will try to find the link for you.

Yes Terry & Julia!! That was the one, I found it but it told me it had been sent to the archives!
I'm having a look at all that's suggested - personally, I think even if he spent the whole week in Ipsos he'd still have a fab time but we thought the island was absolutely amazing.

Hate recommending somewhere to a friend cos I worry in case they don't find it as fantastic as me! Maybe better to find out exactly what he's looking for in a resort on Corfu - quiet, busy, has he got children, pebbly beach or sandy??? All resorts don't suit all visitors!!!!!!
