I was wondering if anyone had seen this in a UK store e.g. boots or a supermarket. (I know you can buy it online).

Also has anyone used it?

Hi Phil

Have not heard of this one, will look out for it.  Is it an organic or environmentally friendly one?

This product was reviewed in one of our Scottish Newspapers last week (can't remember which one -  but I still have the review at home). Five different non-deet based mosquito repellants were tested by being applied to the testers hand, and their hand then being placed in a box along with 50 hungry mosquitos (hope they were well paid!). Basically, the Bioforce Neemcare came out the worst in the test -  with the highest number of mozzies landing on the skin, and the highest proportion actually biting. Will check the article when I get home later. Sorry I can't be more positive.

Thanks Trace. I'd be interested to know which came out tops.

As Greek mosquitos don't, generally, read Scottish papers I wonder if the Neem might be more effective in Corfu than Scotland?

Think it was a product called "mosiguard" that came out tops, but as I said, will check up on the details when i get home. I do remember that Autan Active (Bayrepel formula) didn't do particularly well. That one interested me because that's the product i've bought for my next holiday  .Typical !

As for the mosquitos in Scotland......have you seen the size of our midges

Hi Trace

It will be interesting to know which came out the best. I have tried everything and they still get me.

Hi there,  Apologies for the delay -  i was away for the weekend!

The Neemcare results were the worst of the products tested with 76 "landings" on the test area and 20 bites -  the product was given an overall rating of 3/10. As mentioned before, the best rated non-deet repellant was called Mosi-guard (costs £5.59) and it only had 1 "landing" on the test area and no bites. It was given a 10/10 rating.

By the way, the M+S product mentioned is currently half price in the sale :-)
