Hi Rachel,
Have a look a Agios Gordios, it has so much to offer. Yes, it does have an 18-30 element to it but this is mainly restricted to the Pink Palace complex. To the best of my knowledge they have never caused any problems in the resort.
On the plus side, how much time do I have to say ALL that is good about the resort. There is a great range of Taverna's, Resturant's and other food outlets with a taste to suit almost everyone. If you have a requirement to have interner connection there are FREE Wi-Fi and Free Broadband locations. There is a long sandy beach with a lifeguard on duty during the high season. Visit one of the beach side locations towards dusk and see what is possibly the best sunset you have ever seen.
The resort has very good bus links to Corfu Town. Spend a day or more exploring the maze of streets in the Old Town. Sit in a location on Liston and watch the world go by whilst sipping your drink. There are many outlets serving Spinach pies or Pitta Gyros. Try them it is something you will remember. If you visit by bus you must try NIKO's, a typical Kafeneon opposite the top end of the bus station. It is typical Greek, open 365 days a year for the locals. You are sure to get a warm welcome there.
The Green Bus service is very good so why not use it to visit other parts of the island at low cost of you wish not to drive. Here is a link to the bus timetable, http://www.corfunet.com/corfu/transport/green_bus.php
Agios Gordios is more than a resort, it is a community. Most visitors there visited once, caught the bug and have returned time and time again. Regular visitors and all the locations in the resort try to make EVERY new visitor feel very special. Give us a try, you will find out why we all return.
Yammas, Colin.
