The bands were difficult to get hold of in the UK last year but are on sale in most of the big supermarkets this year.At least they smell quite pleasant compared to some of the other deterrants.

Better to see your doctor before you go to Corfu as he can give you an anti-histamine injection which should see you "trouble-free".

If you have any probelms when you are in Roda, go and see Dr. Sotiris, he'll sort you out.

My sister takes B6 6 weeks before travel and as no problems. One year she forgot to take it before travel and was in a right mess and couldn't walk for 2 days because of swelling.

Can I just add, if after using your chosen products you do still get a mozzie bite don't let the sun get to it.

I read this somewhere and now cover any bites i get with sun block  or the clay from Arillas beach before I go out in the sun. Since then I have had no itching, swelling or weeping bites and have not been left with any marks.
