Hi sedgi, The weather can be changeable we have had some hot October days and also rain showers, it gets cool in the evenings so take a wrap/cardigan/jacket. Many people go at half term due to the direct flights ending then so most of the taverna's etc are open in the resorts.

So get booking and have a good holiday.

Denise

Hi Sedgi

October is a beautiful month to visit Corfu. The days are warm, the sea is very warm thanks to the long summer and the evenings are cool. You may get some rain, although we did`nt last October.

Most of the tavernas and bars and shops will still be open so don`t worry, have a lovely time. Where abouts will you be staying?

For most places the season finishes at the end of October. You will always find tavernas, etc. open until then.   There are some places that cater for walkers later than that, because the cooler weather suits them and there are those that provide for Christmas visitors.   You may have some rain during a stay from September onward, but hardly enough to spoil your holiday until much later in the year.

We've been in october the last couple of years, and we're going again this year. Can I add one word of warning? It is peak mosquito season, so go prepared.
