Hi,
Just wondering....Usually have to be at airport 2 hrs before flight but some relatives just been to Cyprus and had to be there 3 hrs before. Haven't got our Corfu tickets yet but am in process of sorting out a lift so just wondering if anyone knows if it's 2 hrs or 3?

I am a new member of this forum, this will be my first post.

My husband and I are going to Corfu in 2 weeks time, the flights tickets came on Friday and they say 3 hours check in. We are flying with Monarch from Manchester. This will be our first time to Corfu, but was a little surprised to see the 3 hour check in.

Would just like to say how much help this forum was in helping us make our holiday plans.

I think it is a good idea to make sure you are there 2 hours before the flight.

If you are late, expect the laid back Greek attitude to prevail, and why not!

when the tickets state the check-in time, this is a minimum, some days last year at Gatwick south, it took people 2 hours just to get through passport and security checks.

Hi Cathi,

What usually happens is the check in opens 3hrs prior to take off, you normally have to be there a minimum of 2hrs before your flt leaves. I personally prefer getting there earlier, get rid of the bags and have a good mooch round the shops and relax until im away on the plane.

Thanks for everyone's advice. Used to like a mooch round the shops Jackie but it's gonna be about half 4/5 a.m. and gonna have 18mnth old baby with us this time. And I imagine he won't be happy to have been taken from his dreamland!
